Not Everyone Can Join, but Everyone Can Be Seen.

The Known List is not an open membership platform.
You can’t sign up, buy access, or fill out a form.

You join only by nomination
from someone who is already on The Known List.

Why?
Because leadership isn’t just about visibility.
It’s about trust—and trust travels through people.

How Joining Works

1. Member–Only Nominations

Every person on The Known List can nominate a limited number of new members each year.
They don’t nominate based on titles or popularity, but on:

  • Depth of impact
  • Integrity and consistency
  • How generously they use their voice, platform, or position
  • The stories and lessons others can learn from them

2. Story First, Status Second

When a member nominates someone, they don’t just send a name.
They share a story:

  • How this person shows up
  • What they’ve built or contributed
  • Moments that reveal who they really are

The Known List editorial team then reviews the nomination based on story, substance, and fit with the platform’s mission.

3. Confirmation & Feature

If approved, the new member:

  • Is officially added to The Known List
  • Receives a dedicated profile or feature story
  • Is invited to opportunities to share their journey through conversations, lists, and possibly events or collaborations in the future.

What We Look For

Being on The Known List is not about being perfect or finished.
It’s about being in motion.

We look for people who:

  • Are actively building something larger than themselves
  • Work in spaces like diplomacy, culture, policy, social impact, innovation, or community
  • Represent youth leadership and global thinking
  • Carry their identity, culture, and story with humility and courage
  • Have experiences others can learn from, not just admire

You don’t need a big title.
You need a real journey.

What It Means to Be on The Known List

Being on The Known List means:

  • Your story is told with depth, not just headlines
  • You stand alongside a growing circle of emerging global leaders
  • You may be invited for:
    • Interviews and long-form profiles
    • Curated lists (e.g. Youth Diplomats to Watch, Voices in Policy, Cultural Shapers)
    • Future gatherings, panels, or collaborations

It’s not a club for ego.
It’s a space for humble, serious, purpose-driven people who are willing to share what they’ve learned so others can grow.

For Current Members: How to Nominate

If you’re already on The Known List, you can:

  1. Reflect on the people in your world whose stories deserve to be told.
  2. Choose those who embody impact, integrity, and generosity.
  3. Submit a nomination with:
    • Who they are
    • What they do
    • Why their story matters
    • A few key moments that changed their path

Your nomination is a form of recognition and responsibility.
You’re not just adding a name—you’re saying:

“The world needs to know this person.”

For Future Members: A Note to You

You might be reading this and thinking:

“I don’t know anyone on The Known List yet.
Does that mean I can’t ever join?”

Here’s the honest answer:

Right now, joining is by nomination only.
But being seen is not.

You can’t control when you are nominated.
You can control how you show up:

  • Keep doing the work that matters.
  • Show up for your community, your field, your country.
  • Speak when it counts.
  • Build things that outlive trends.

The Known List exists for people like you, the ones building before the spotlight.

If your path aligns with this mission,
Someone, somewhere, will eventually say:

“Their name belongs on The Known List.”

The Known List
A global circle of names the future will remember.
