How Joining Works
1. Member–Only Nominations
Every person on The Known List can nominate a limited number of new members each year.
They don’t nominate based on titles or popularity, but on:
- Depth of impact
- Integrity and consistency
- How generously they use their voice, platform, or position
- The stories and lessons others can learn from them
2. Story First, Status Second
When a member nominates someone, they don’t just send a name.
They share a story:
- How this person shows up
- What they’ve built or contributed
- Moments that reveal who they really are
The Known List editorial team then reviews the nomination based on story, substance, and fit with the platform’s mission.
3. Confirmation & Feature
If approved, the new member:
- Is officially added to The Known List
- Receives a dedicated profile or feature story
- Is invited to opportunities to share their journey through conversations, lists, and possibly events or collaborations in the future.
What We Look For
Being on The Known List is not about being perfect or finished.

We look for people who:

- Represent youth leadership and global thinking

For Current Members: How to Nominate
If you’re already on The Known List, you can:
- Reflect on the people in your world whose stories deserve to be told.

- Submit a nomination with:
- Who they are
- What they do
- Why their story matters
- A few key moments that changed their path
